Upstate South Carolina has one of the best available labor forces in the United States and the World.

South Carolina is a right-to-work state.  With the current leadership in Columbia, that is likely to remain in place for the foreseeable future.

In population, South Carolina is one of the fastest growing of the 50 states.  As students in Upstate counties graduate from high school, those interested in eventual jobs in the manufacturing and distribution sectors can enroll in the Spartanburg Community College, the Greenville Technical College system, and similar institutions in the other Upstate counties.

All of the Upstate technical colleges have close relationships with the job generators, so graduates are trained for good jobs and placed in them before or at graduation from the 2-year colleges.
